  • Therapy sessions are weekly at the start of the therapy process. Our intake session is 75 minutes and standard sessions are 50 minutes long.

Once we feel we have made progress, we can discuss meeting less often. There may be certain circumstances in which we need to meet more often as well. This can be discussed after your intake session with your therapist. If at any point during the therapy process we determine that you need more support (higher level of care), your therapist will provide you with appropriate referrals.

When working with minors, our practice requires parent/ caregiver participation. This can range from weekly to monthly parent sessions depending on the age and needs of your child.

  • Our therapists do not provide crisis services or after hours support. We will return all calls and emails within 24-48 business hours. In case of a clinical emergency, such as a threat to your safety or someone else’s, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. If you feel you need crisis support, we can provide you with appropriate referrals.

    • Threat of harm to self. If we cannot ensure your safety together, therapists may be required to notify authorities or contact family members to help keep the client safe.

    • If a court of law issues a subpoena. Therapists can be required to disclose some information discussed in therapy.
